For a full class list, or to find out if I teach what you have in mind, click the Hire Me button above! First Contact Workshops Are you interested in bringing Blues dancing to your scene? First Contact workshops are designed to jump start or reinvigorate a Blues scene in your home town. Over the weekend, we'll give your group all the fundamentals they need to rock out on the dance floor, as well as the tools to build a solid group of friends and peers who hang out, practice, and continue to improve their dance and their community, long after the weekend is over. Quality of Movement One of my greatest passions is improving my own quality of movement. It's a passion I love sharing with my students. After 20 years of dance training, including classical ballet, Pilates, and Franklin method, I have a few tricks up my sleeve to help improve the quality of movement in any aspect of your dance. Solo Movement Bringing back the tradition of Solo Blues dancing is one of my great dance passions. Whether you're interested in Solo Blues as an enhancement of your partnered movement, or as a highly expressive dance form in its own right, I want to work with you to bring out your inner solo dancer. Conversation and Follow Voice As a dancer who loves to follow, I have a passion for making sure the follow's voice is heard in each and every dance. By both teaching follows how to speak up and encouraging our leads to settle down and listen, we can turn our dance into a collaborative conversation. Choreography Choreography is the thing I've been most vibing on over the last year. Whether you just want to learn some choreography as a way of improving your dance, or you want help creating your own piece, I love to share my process and my pieces with students. |
